Following your road

I can't believe that I spent the entire saturday afternoon just reading my highschool and college classmates' profiles and testimonials in Friendster. Some of them started blogging too and I eagerly read them.

I don't want to sound cheesy but I'm really proud of them. They all look happy and fulfilled. Some of them are working overseas and doing well on their jobs. Some are married and blessed with cute little kids... and I'm a proud ninong. They all seems made the right choice... which made me think of my own decisions. Is this the kind of life that I want? What's the next thing that I would like to happen in my life?... just some of the qestions that's been popping out of my head.

I used to be a dreamer. I always aim for what I want to achieve. But it started to fade as I got older. Now, I'm not looking forward to anything and don't have any future plans yet. Is this the so called midlife crisis? If it is, I hope I can start rethinking for I hate this feeling.

I'm back...again

Ok. I'm renewing my commitment to update this blog for the nth time. My laziness and the lack of things to write are the primary reasons why I wasn't able to post for a long time. Since I don't have much things to do today, I was able to read some of my friends' blog. Oh boy! I missed so many things and have a lot of catching up to do.

What I've been up to lately? At work, I've been doing some enhancements on our previous projects at the county. There were problems here and there, nothing that we can't fix. Sometimes it's hard to accept projects that requires processing/computation of payments/money. If you didn't code it the way it should, you're screwed. The client might sue you for the wrong computations. Good thing there's an 'Errors and Omissions Insurance' for the company/programmers. But that doesn't give you the right to deliberately screw it.

Last month, I did a website for a friend and was paid generously (by my standards). I don't really have the talent for web design. But give me a site to copy, I'll do it. With a little knowledge of Photoshop and Flash, I can definitely create a decent site. Hopefully, through another friend's recommendation, I'll get two more website projects.

As for my social life... do I even have one? I was in L.A. again last weekend, thanks to my friends M&P for always giving me a place to stay... and TFC to watch. =)
